WRINKLE RELAXERS
The quality of our skin gradually declines over time as we age. When we make expressions such as frowning, squinting, or raising our brows, the movement creates wrinkles. This movement is caused by the muscles contracting. Overtime, these wrinkles can be present when we are not making expressions. These wrinkles contribute to the appearance of aging skin. Wrinkle relaxers work by interrupting the muscle contraction, relaxing the muscle which reduces the appearance of fine lines, crows feet and forehead wrinkles. Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that work to relax wrinkles. Treatment with either of these products will help diminish or eliminate wrinkles and prevent wrinkles from forming or worsening.

As we age, we loose volume in certain areas of our face due to subcutaneous fat loss. In addition, our skin stretches out a bit, further contributing to the appearance of volume loss. This makes our skin appear saggy and wrinkly, leaving us looking tired and aged. Lip filler and cheek filler consist of hyaluronic acid which is injected below the surface of the skin, immediately restoring volume to the face. This is a long-lasting treatment most commonly used to improve shallow contours of the face, plump the lips, and decrease facial creases/wrinkles. At Sculpted, we carry the most common and requested fillers including Juvederm products and Revanesse Versa. Each filler has a different viscosity to treat various ares of the face. SCULPTRA
Sculptra is an injectable made up of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which helps stimulate our body to replenish volume loss by inducing collagen production. Collagen helps to strengthen the skins structure, hydrate the skin, and allows for elasticity, all of which contribute to a youthful appearance. By age 45 we have already lost about 25% of the collagen in our face and there is a continued decline of about 1% per year. Sculptra aids in collagen production, adding volume and diminishing facial wrinkles. Results from Sculptra occur subtly and gradually, lasting up to 2 years.
